Title: Vice President of Quality
Compensation: $150-$180,000 plus 25%+ bonus
Reports To: VP Processing Technology
Company: Major Food Processor- $800 million in sales
Location: Northeast
 
 

Key Information:

General Objectives:
- Lead the Company's Quality initiatives in an organized systematic manner which delivers consistently satisfactory products to customers while maintaining flexibility to adjust to available raw materials and manufacturing capabilities.

- Play a central role on the senior management team by developing a written quality program.

- Develop and administer the Company's Quality Control policies and programs ensuring the quality control inspections, tests and corrective procedures are coordinated and communicated throughout the organization.

- Develop, recommend and implement appropriate forward thinking Quality systems, checks, testing procedures and record keeping activities which enhances effectiveness of the department without diminishing efficiency (cost/benefit) of the Company's ability to deliver products on time and within specifications.

- Maintain a close working relationship with Sales, New Product Development, Operations, Engineering and Procurement management teams; recognizing the dynamics and inter-relationships that each department contributes to product quality in terms of customer requirements, raw materials procured and manufacturing capabilities.

REQUIREMENTS:
Candidates must have a minimum of 10+ years progressive quality management experience in the FOOD OR BEVERAGE industry. Ideally from a $500+ million organization.
