Information Technology -  Account Managers IT (Sales - Sr. and Jr. Levels)


Title:  IT Sales / IT Account Manager / IT Sales Technician

-- Both English and Spanish-speaking Roles Available --

Position:  Full time, direct-hire – 8 am – 5pm (Monday – Friday)

Location: Buffalo, NY 14212

Compensation:  $40,000 - $50,000 Base Salary + Commissions + Full Benefits

Our IT Account Managers are true partners to our customers. We build and maintain lasting customer relationships founded on trust, integrity and an in-depth understanding the workings IT infrastructure. We regularly interact with our customers in order foster a holistic understanding their IT infrastructure and their company’s IT needs.


***The primary mission of this role is maintaining and strengthening the customer relationship; sales are an incidental part of making sure that the customers have the best solutions for their business.***


To that end, Partner Account Managers:

  • Act as a customer advocate working closely with all departments to ensure they understand individual customer requirements
  • Ensure through regular communication with the service team that customers are receiving the proper quality of service
  • Set appropriate expectations for service with the customer
  • Build trust and strengthen relationships by keeping customers informed of the ways that emerging technologies can help their business
  • Complete regular account reviews and present to customers
  • Identify customer needs and prepare relevant solutions in accordance with SOPs and best practices
  • Flexible and adaptable work schedule based on customer needs
  • Embody the standard of taking IT customer service to its highest-possible level


Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated senior-level relationship management experience
  • Experience and understanding of building IT business solutions (in-depth technical knowledge not required)
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels to achieve short and long-term objectives
  • Understanding and appreciation of the IT Services industry
  • Advanced interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including customer presentations
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt working style and approach to best communicate with a range of individuals
  • Experience and appreciation of partner management roles and responsibilities, including programs, systems, and tools used to manage partner relationships
  • Ability to apply previous work experiences to resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways
  • Experience and appreciation for working with partners and internal stakeholders to hold them accountable to fulfilling quarterly business objectives while maintaining positive, constructive relationships
